Money
A purchase starts with something you say. The price on that option is what you pay.
Check the offer before spending. A seller's price can differ from the item's list value. You cannot sell your possessions back.

Paying for an offer
A purchase option can set its own price. When it does, that price takes precedence over the item's list value. An option without its own price uses the item's value instead. Some offers remain hidden until you can afford them.
Earning money
Money can arrive as a dialogue reward. Experience and skill points belong to a separate progression system; collecting an item does not create a sale value you can cash in.
The expensive exception
Ultra Violeta's Exit Papers have no list value, but the offers for them ask for millions. The price attached to a spoken offer is what matters when planning a purchase.
Reading the item values
The values below describe the items themselves. They are useful for comparing equipment, but a conversation can charge a different amount. The combined value is not a shopping budget.
