The defining piece of a carabinero's ensemble. The design was supposedly approved by Sweet Nestor -- a theory that hangs on the crescent moon imagery, which featured in his campaigns.

The disaster led to Sweet Nestor being exiled in 80 -- the third and final time. He left, in his wake, decades of stabilisation loans yet to be repaid.

Project AUTONOMÍA was Sweet Nestor's idée fixe, meant to establish Portofiro as a spacefaring nation. The mission was first announced in 75, and its inaugural launch was set for 77.

Sweet Nestor, famed dictator of Portofiro from some forty years back. Loved and reviled in equal measure, there's no denying he was a larger than life personality.

You look to your left and see the spectral figure of Sweet Nestor crouching on the floor, his voice lowered to an enraged whisper.

After the rocket exploded live on the world's television screens, Sweet Nestor made bold televised speeches blaming 'foreign hands'. By the time he boarded the helicopter that would ferry him to exile, he'd accused at least half the Developed World of engineering the disaster.
