Impossible

Without an artificial light source, you can't see a damn thing in there.

Formidable

This is bullshit.

Medium

Astounding. Must've been harvested just a few days ago.

Medium

Looks like a shrine. Faces carved into mountain.

Medium

Sweet mercy! That's no human waveform!

Medium

You know what he means, but you can't help it: an apple-sized dollop of lard melts between hand and chest as you massage grey-tufted folds of old skin.

Medium

The mess of black squares swims before your eyes. You have no idea.

Medium

Not much else, though. Too dark.

Medium

That hurt. A lot. Expect mild bruising.

Challenging

Voice so hushed as to be indecipherable.

Medium

Your own breath. Loud in your ears, uneven.

Easy

You can't hear a thing.

Challenging

Uh, you got distracted by your own eyes looking back at you. Probably trying to tell you that this guy is blatant goon.

Challenging

End of transmission.

Medium

Easy

Nothing out of order about these documents.

Medium

Too quick, too distant -- he disappears from your line of sight.

Formidable

The sound of his voice stirs some vague primal discomfort.

Formidable

Something is pressing down on you. Heavy earth.

Formidable

No. But you can definitely catch a whiff of the last guy's teeth.

Challenging

You're going to have to take his word for it.

Medium

Vertiginous patterns of broken tile swirl below you. Your head swims.

Medium

Trees are trees. You do not notice trees. Boring.

Formidable

No one is suggesting that he's watching you through the TV screen, that's ridiculous. The raised hairs along your arm must have some other, more mundane cause.
