Challenging

You can almost see it -- behind all earthly plots, a vast, meta-plot opening up before him.

Easy

An oddly specific example...

Easy

Again with the railing.

Easy

Again. The railing. It is imbued with some exceptional significance, a symbol whose meaning you cannot parse yet.

Medium

He still sweeps up there, though.

Easy

The buildings are old, decaying, but clean. This man is fighting the final battles in a lost war -- polishing broken handrails, painting splintered wood.

Easy

Again with the railing.

Easy

Again. The railing. It is imbued with some exceptional significance, a symbol whose meaning you cannot parse yet.

Medium

Cities made of playing cards.

Easy

An oddly specific example of societal decay...

Easy

Again he returns to that railing, symbol of civilisational continuity.

Trivial

What is wrong with this place, no broom can touch.

Easy

Whoever attended the debaucherous party that was held here should have a good idea of which orifice you should check next.

Easy

Whoever attended whatever it was that went down here should have a good idea of which orifice you should check next.

Easy

With none of the griminess of the surrounding neighbourhood.

Easy

The tunnel, it's everything you imagined it to be.

Challenging

You picture signals, fired from the thermosphere, spearing through noctilucent clouds as they fall toward Portofiro.

Easy

The offerings on the shrine altar are a mix of the old and the new -- though the recent additions are fewer in number.

Easy

With any luck, it can show you the signal that goes directly to the prisoner's intercom.

Easy

With the notable exception of the Miracle Line, which remains on a wired connection.

Easy

It could conceivably let you tap into the Miracle Line.

Trivial

There is only one place in Portofiro that PA could be referring to -- Party Alley.

Easy

Specifically the dual centres of Bootleg Bazaar and Party Alley, immediately surrounding you.

Formidable

Locate the prisoner's intercom.

Medium

A pointillistic map of the island, drawn in phone terminals.

Easy

A wound in the city's flesh. An orifice where the metal veins that twist and knot below your feet are exposed for a moment.

Easy

The Editor-in-Chief said she's the janitor of this building. That means she sets the door codes.

Trivial

The workbench in Constanz's side room at Foto 24 would be an ideal location to assemble your weapon.

Easy

If what she says is true, then that payphone might be another way for you to get into the basement of that magzine office.

Easy

If what she says is true, that magazine office just got a whole lot more suspicious.

Easy

If what she says is true, that magazine office would be worth casing out in full.

Trivial

Could explain why Dr Hugo dislikes Septimus so much. His daughter's living in an old doss house.

Easy

A little bit of breaking and entering never hurt anyone.

Easy

This is the pet shop you're looking for.

Easy

Thick spiderwebs stretch and break.

Easy

The cobwebs have already re-formed, strands of freshly-woven spider silk cling to the back of your jacket as you duck inside the building.

Easy

It's been left open in the first place because it's stuck like that -- it won't shut or open wider.

Easy

Dr. Hugo asleep in the back room, no doubt.

Medium

That structure is ready to give away almost entirely if you put any more weight on it.

Trivial

You might want to try assessing the size of the gap before trying again.

Medium

At the centre of the bazaar stands a mound of flesh, rendered in cotton. Reflective eyes, brown fur, a long tail.

Easy

Broken cages everywhere, this could be an escapee.

Easy

Is this the dock thief?

Medium

The Honour Stall in Party Alley might be a good first stop.

Easy

Gibberish. The fact that it starts with a one digit number precludes this possibility.

Easy

You'd have to know how to use a map for this to be effective.

Easy

Lot of footfall for a two-person 'magazine office'.

Easy

Lot of footfall for a nondescript building tucked in the corner of a city.

Medium

Names over numbers. Old school community.
